Ameren Missouri Solar Rebate
Looking to install solar in Missouri? Did you miss out on the last Ameren Missouri solar rebate? Good news! Missouri passed the Grid Modernization Act, and Ameren Missouri will be awarding $28 million in solar rebates over 5 years!
This means that Ameren customers will now have an exciting, new incentive that will help reduce their net cost of investing in solar. This rebate will allow homes, businesses, schools, government facilities and others to generate their own solar electricity for lower cost.

How much is the rebate?
- $0.25 per Watt, which is $250 per kiloWatt installed for systems operational from June 30th, 2019 – December 31st 2023.
- Example: A 10 kW (DC), or 10,000 Watt residential system would receive a rebate of $2,500.

- Up to 25 kW for residential
- Up to 150 kW for commercial
When can I apply?
As of September 1, 2019, Ameren Missouri released $5.6 million for customer-owned solar rebates for the 2020 program. Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 program. Rebate disbursement for the 2020 program will begin on January 1, 2020. Note all rebates are $0.25 per Watt.
