This NECA-IBEW facility features a unique hybrid 51 kW solar photovoltaic and Bergey wind turbine system that was developed, designed and managed by Tick Tock Energy with installation provided by two NECA-IBEW member electrical contractors. In addition to the Bergey wind turbine, the system features several major types of solar mounting types – a ground-mount, 2-axis tracking, wall-mount, and roof-mount array. Both central inverters and microinverters are used and the overall system has an energy dashboard to monitor power production from all systems.
